Information on home based businesses is all over the Internet.  One site will link you to another.  Underlined phrases throughout the text that are bright blue in color are hyperlinks.  Click on the hyperlink and it will take you a related page.

Throughout our Reports you will see a series of colored underlined phrases.  You must be connected to the Internet when you're reading that information to be able to click on the link and be connected.   Links are website addresses.

Most browsers will have a back button that will return you to this site once you have reviewed the hyperlinked information.

With everything that is possible through the Internet these days there is a good possibility that you will end up marketing your product ot service on the Internet.  If you are not computer savvy at this point, forge ahead and learn what you can when you can.

When you access one site there may be a link to another site with similar information.  When (and if) you decide to put up a site it will be to your advantage to offer links to comparable sites and others will do the same for you.

Links to our sites:  Blogs and websites are touchy in some cases - pay attention to www. and the / marks if you have any trouble accessing the correct site.  Upper and lower case may make a difference.  Some sites access without the www. and some will not access with them.  A good example is our Business:  The Right Choice Blog at LowdownReports.com.

That Blog was created by a third party at Wordpress.org and will not access from my computer if I do not put in the last slash mark.  The other five blogs were created by me through my hosting company, HostGator.com, using Fantastico which creates a Wordpress.org blog in a few short clicks.  None of the other blogs require that last slash.

The safest thing to do is to copy the URL (Universal Resource Locator – the website address) from the text and then paste it into your browser – much safe and easier.  If the URL is highlighted in blue the URL is probably hyperlinked which means you can click on the colored URL and go directly to the site that is linked.

Internet Marketing

The business possibilities through the Internet are unlimited if you know how to access them.  Just think – your business is up and running 24/7 – 365 days a year.  The deep-rooted success in that business is that you are able to respond to inquiries made to your site 24/7 – 365 days a year

In my search to find out what I needed to find out to market FCDS Reports the way I wanted to do it I logged onto many of the Internet Guru sites looking for information on Internet Products Marketing.  I’m sure that’s a road that some of you have already been down.  Some are very good, some are moderately helpful and some are a downright waste of money.

As you begin to access information you need to understand what you really need.  You’ll hear different things from different sources and different sources will have their different focus.

Like any business you need start up money.  However, that start-up money can be as little as $50 a month or as much as $5,000 a month.  Just depends on what you want to do and how fast you want to do it.  The overpowering message from those who have done it is to be consistent.

If you have a product or information offering of your own that may be the place to start.  If not, but you like the idea of Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing is a logical starting point.

Affiliate Marketing is a very viable path for internet entrepreneurs.  What is Affiliate Marketing?  The majority of the viable “gurus” on line offer various services as well as an affiliate program.  Clickbank.com is one of the largest suppliers of electronic information on the net.  Cut and paste this link into your browser and take a look at Clickbank.  For a nominal registration fee you have an endless supply of products to offer.

http://fcds123.reseller.hop.clickbank.net

There are several others offering multiple products, but most are a single information provider offering an affiliate commission on their specific products.

The way to capitalize on the opportunity is to get your site up and running and then begin to add the affiliate associations offered by many of the Internet Marketing Gurus who will begin to send you information.

You need three things to get your site up and running and two of them can be found with a hosting company.  We recommend HostGator.com.  But there is one important step you should take first.  Access Shawn Casey’s ad for Internet in a Box available on this page.  Click onto the link for the free offer.  Read through that information and request the Internet in a Box.

A second offer will pop up and for a minimal investment you can get one of Casey’s reports.  The purchase of that Report gives you access to Casey’s Easy Profit Strategies Club for 30 days.  It is a very worthwhile investment.  Pay attention to the 30-day trial period.  At the end of it you will be charged the monthly fee if you don’t cancel the service.  Of all the products you want to continue to receive the Easy Profit Strategies Club should be at the top of your list.

Shawn Casey and his brother Scott Casey are phenomenal teachers and all of the teaching sessions they provide are stored on the EPS site.  They do several Webinars – live seminars on hot topics – throughout the month and the only admission fee is your membership in the EPS Club.

Follow through on the registration process for Easy Profit Strategies Club and when you’re there access the video for choosing your domain name.  The information covers why you want to stay with a .com. name.  Many of the better .com names are gone but there are variations you can play around with.  Once you have some possibilities of what you want as a domain name you want to connect back to HostGator.com.

You can contact HostGator at http://secure.hostgator.com/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=fcds123.  Once you’ve signed up for HostGator and chosen your domain name access the aWeber.com site at http://aweber.com/?318265 and look at the introductory information.  If you’re sure you’re going ahead with an Internet venture you want to sign up for aWeber’s email management program and know that you’ve got it set.  Watch several of the videos offered from aWeber so you’re very familiar with their product offering.  Then put aWeber on the back burner for awhile.

Be sure you track your login information for the new accounts you set up.  I use colored file folders and section off the inside of the fold into 8 or 16 sections depending on how much room I will need to write the information.  Then, when I need an access code I open the file and it’s there.  You can also store all of your sign-in/access information on a notepad file on your desktop – then you just cut and paste the information into your browser.

Then go back to Easy Profit Strategies Club and check out the videos available on the cpanel at HostGator.  Spend some time playing around with the cpanel.  Open different sections and see what they’re all about.  This cpanel is the control panel for your website.

Another of the offerings on EPS Club is building a Wordpress.org blog.  Watch the videos that the Casey’s offer to see how it’s done.  If you want it done well and immediately they offer a SuperBlog building service.  However, building a blog through Fantastico on your cpanel is not difficult.  And, more important, you will probably want to do more than one so it’s a good skill to learn.

If you don’t have a product of your own to start your Internet business with, you can use the products offered by other Internet entrepreneurs.  Once you’ve got the hosting and a domain name, either create a site through SiteBuilder or a blog through Fantastico and Wordpress.org and then go to aWeber and see how to add the sign-in forms to your site.  That’s when you begin to build your business.  You’ll find out more about configuring your site or your blog and then begin to learn more about SEO – Search Engine Optimization and how to ping your blog.  Yes, it sounds odd, but the information is all there on the EPS Club site and it’s all information you will need to know, so be sure that’s one of the first things you get signed up for.

These affiliate offerings are usually very professional presentations so you don’t have fear about the products you’re promoting – they’re 100% guaranteed.  When you agree to be an affiliate for a company you’re assigned a specific affiliate number and you add that number to all links you create to promote those products.

When a visitor purchases a product because they traveled to a site from the link you provided, the information in that link identifies you as the referring site – and puts you in line to receive the commission due the sale.

The coolest thing about this is that there are a number of the “experts” who are willing to let you ride their coat tail and sell their products.  That means that you can learn the technical side of doing business on the web without having to develop the products to offer.  It’s a great training ground.  Build your list of customers, offer top of the line, guaranteed products, learn the mechanics of the business and decide how much further you want to take it.

Do you need a website?  Yes and No.  How’s that for an answer?  You can begin to make your offerings with a WordPress.org blog – make sure your hosting company offers Fantastico or a blog creating tool that will allow you to add sign-in forms to your pages.  Creating a blog is a very simple way to put up an information site.  The blog services offer sophisticated artwork you can use so that you create a professional image.  As you learn you’ll be able to do more.  There are several credible blog sites you can use if you don’t like our recommendations.  Believe me, you won’t find anything any easier.

Blog is slang for Web Log – a url (Universal Resource Locator – or web address) takes a visitor to a website looking page and a listing of articles that have appeared on that site show on that page – hence, it’s a web log – or blog for short.  That concept has been seriously expanded in recent years and blogs are the easiest way to get your information on the web.

I personally chose to use Wordpress.org because that’s what the people I was taking guidance from said was the best.  What didn’t register was that Wordpress offers a .com and a .org.  It cost me several critical weeks after I created the .com sites to realize that I could not add sign in blocks or follow through auto responders to the site to follow up with the steps required to build a mailing list.

So, to do a website (a collection of pages that tells about you and your product) or a blog (a single page that should be more of an information site than a commercial site) you should have your own domain (business site name.com) and a hosting company (the business that has all the equipment and language codes to actually get your message on the www (world wide web).

What I learned from Shawn Casey’s group was enough more than I knew before to get things started.  Another critical thing I learned is that no one group is going to have all of your answers.  Your best bet is to learn as much as you can as you go along so you can monitor your own journey.

Your suggested resources for a domain, hosting, and email support are:

· HostGator.com was suggested for hosting – less than $10 a month and it included a very BASIC website service for building one site without a lot of bells and whistles.  However, for a beginning offering you don’t need the bells and whistles – just a basic, professional site that will offer multiple pages or a blog through Fantastico,  Click here http://secure.hostgator.com/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=fcds123

· Aweber.com is the company I chose for email support.  They came highly recommended – plus – they were the best site for customer service and clear answers.  There is an email option in HostGator but I was told by several “gurus” that if I was serious about building an internet business aWeber was the only way to go.  Click into http://aweber.com/?318265.

My recommended place to start is with Shawn Casey ‘s Free “Internet in a Box” at http://www.ipcgold.com/ad/812/CD69376.  Shawn has taken his years in marketing and refined techniques to be highly successful on the Internet.  His Easy Profit Strategies Club maintains an easily accessible web page that will take you anywhere you want to go.  Purchase any one of the products and you have access to the East Profit Strategies Club for one month to evaluate their awesome service.  If you’re going to continue as a customer you’ll have access to new information each month plus a great support team for other issues.

The main thing I find so impressive about Mr. Casey’s organization is that they always deliver.  Shawn states repeatedly that his goal is to over deliver – and he does a great job of it.  Because of the many early disappointments I had with information products that I received I became super aware of what the offers were and what I actually received.

So many of the offers have something that sounds just like what you need and can probably afford and then go on to something else and never come back to the affordable offer.  Not the case with Casey’s Easy Profit Strategies Club.  I highly recommend it.

If you’re considering doing business on the Internet you may want to order this great book – Internet Law Compliance.  Follow this link to Internet Law Compliance - http://www.ipcgold.com/ad/162/CD69376.  This system shows webmasters how to bullet proof their websites in less than 60 minutes.

Just beginning to get a feel for Internet Marketing and you’re not sure what your next steps should be.  Access Casey’s “Free Instant Internet Business-in-a-Box offering worth $497.  Click onto http://www.ipcgold.com/ad/812/CD69376 for your Free copy.

“Mining for Gold” is the definitive book on Internet Marketing.  Features 22 of the best strategies for Internet Marketing success.  Click into “Mining for Gold” at http://www.ipcgold.com/ad/44/CD69376.

The really cool thing about a successful internet business is that your business is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year.  You do that automatically and http://www.ipcgold.com/ad/1257/CD69376 will take you to “Autopilot Profits” – your first step in understanding the power of instant email responses, autoresponders, opt-in pages, etc.

Other organizations I’ve been impressed with are:

There is a fellow named Yaro Starak who bills himself as the Blog Mastermind.  Log into either of these offerings to find out about his organization:

To access Blog Mastermind use this link:
http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/go.php?offer=CD69376&pid=1

To access Membership Site Mastermind use this:
http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/go.php?offer=CD69376&pid=3

When you get ready to do your blogs, visit www.BecomeaBlogger.com and watch the series of videos.  Yaro’s associate Gideon Shadwick covers all the details of creating a Wordpress.org blog.  The video series suggests downloading a version of Wordpress.org and manually installing the blog.  If you go with HostGator you have access to Fantastico so creating the blog is simply a few clicks.  So, if you do HostGator, still use Fantastico.   But the information you will get from the video series helps you understand how you would go about putting your own html code onto your site or blog and that information will be very useful when you get around to adding the opt-in and sign in forms.

What is html – it stands for hyper text marketing language.  It’s the coding that makes text appear as you want it to on your site.  When you add something to your site the coding has to be correct in order for you to get the finished product you want.

Another great series of videos on how to do all of this is available from Corey Lewis at Each Tech Videos.  Click into http://fcds123coreyl.hop.clickbank.net and check out Easy Tech Videos.

Reactor Publishing – a great source for list building techniques.  Access them at http://ReactorPublishing.com/cmd.php?af=975563.  The offer opt-in plug in systems for your list-building needs.
